Introduction
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is Europe’s leading body for health and safety and is committed to promoting protection from workplace hazards at every level. The Construction Site Managers certificate issued by IOSH is recognised nationally and international and identifies the holder as having been instructed in proactive approaches to managing health, safety and welfare.
The course covers the basics in health and safety management in a high impact interactive format, whilst giving management the tools to introduce new workplace controls, implement sensible changes and reduce workplace risks.
Course Duration
IHTC Ltd offer this course over four or five days. This can be sat as separate days by agreement although block training is recommended for continuity.
Who Should Attend
Construction Site Managers is for managers and supervisors within the construction/civils sector, and any organisation. It is designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

Module 2: Preparing for work
Module 3: Setting up the site
Module 4: Construction phase health and safety
Certification and Assessment
On course completion, delegates will undertake a short assessment and conduct a workplace practical project. Assessments are carried out throughout the course and all delegates who successfully complete this course are issued with an IOSH certificate.
