Introduction
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is Europe’s leading body for health and safety and is committed to promoting protection from workplace hazards at every level. The Working Safely certificate issued by IOSH is recognised nationally and international and identifies the holder as having been instructed in proactive approaches to understanding health, safety and welfare.
The course covers the basics in health, safety and welfare in a high impact interactive format, whilst giving the delegates the tools to recognise and understand workplace controls, implement sensible authorised changes and assist in reducing workplace risks.

Construction Workers is for all operatives in any sector, and any organisation. It gives operatives at all levels, in any sector worldwide, who need a good grounding in the essentials of health and safety; therefore, it is designed to give all workers the core knowledge to stay safe and embeds a good understanding and techniques required to keep others safe as well.

Part 4: Improving safety performance
Certification and Assessment
On course completion, delegates will undertake a short assessment. Assessments are carried out throughout the course and all delegates who successfully complete this course are issued with an IOSH certificate.
