This course provides delegates with the knowledge and skills to enable them to ensure healthy and safe conditions for construction site employees.
Description
Introduction
This is a five-day course which provides project managers, site managers and supervisors, business proprietors and client-based personnel with the knowledge and skills to enable them to ensure healthy and safe conditions for construction site employees.
Who Should Attend?
The course is suitable for a wide range of persons connected with the construction industry to include site managers, engineers, architects, local authority employees, large client representatives, proprietors of small businesses and sub-contractors. Ideally candidates should have fulfilled a supervisory or management role within the construction industry.

Certification and Assessment
Delegates will be assessed daily by their input to group exercises. There is a group presentation on day five followed by a multiple-choice assessment. Delegates must attend all 5-days of the course, completing a total of 37.5 hours to be eligible to take the final assessment. Successful delegates will be awarded with a CITB certificate, which is renewable every 5 years by attending a CITB approved 2-day refresher course
