To provide the delegate with the skills and the confidence to carry out abseil based rescues.
Description
The need for a timely rescue is well documented; this course teaches a number of rescue options including ‘cutaways’ and the use of a casualty pulley system (CPS), making the rescue more versatile. This specialised course is particularly focused on teaching delegates to transfer their casualty and themselves from one rope system to another at height.
All persons who work on industrial towers or steel structures especially those that would require a multi-pitch rescue in the event of casualty evacuation should attend.

Certification method: Practical Assessment.
Certification is valid for 1 year.
Prerequisites
Delegates must hold a valid in date Basic Climbing and Rescue certification, a First Aid at Height certificate and must be physically/medically fit.
